Repair Services

SpeedyTech Computer Repair provides computer repair, upgrade, and IT support services. By requesting repair services, you agree to these terms.

Diagnostic Fee

A $40 diagnostic fee is charged to identify the problem with your computer. If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the total repair cost. If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee is non-refundable.

Estimates and Authorization

We provide a repair estimate after diagnosis. Work begins only after you authorize the repair and agree to the estimated cost. If additional issues are discovered during the repair, we will contact you before proceeding with any additional work.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the repair and before the computer is returned. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. A 3.5% surcharge applies to all credit and debit card transactions.

Warranty

Repair work is warranted for a reasonable period after completion. This warranty covers the specific repair performed. It does not cover new issues, physical damage, software changes made after the repair, or issues unrelated to the original repair.

Data Responsibility

While we take precautions to protect your data during repairs, SpeedyTech is not responsible for data loss. We strongly recommend backing up your data before bringing your computer in for service. If you request data backup as part of your service, we will make reasonable efforts to preserve your data.

Abandoned Equipment

Equipment left at our shop for more than 30 days after notification that the repair is complete or that the repair has been declined will be considered abandoned. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before disposing of abandoned equipment.

Limitation of Liability

SpeedyTech's liability is limited to the cost of the repair services performed. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Scope of Services

SpeedyTech repairs computers only. We do not repair cell phones, tablets, or iPads. For gaming consoles, we only perform HDMI port replacement. We do not provide warranty on parts or repairs for issues caused by misuse, power surges, or liquid damage occurring after the repair.
