Welcome to Speedy Tech Computer Repair ("Speedy Tech," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting our website, contacting us, or dropping off a device for service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

We provide computer, laptop, Mac and gaming-console repair, virus and malware removal, data recovery, setup and installation, tutoring, on-site and remote tech support, and free e-waste recycling. The scope of any specific repair is agreed upon at drop-off or before work begins.

2. Estimates & Diagnostics

We provide a clear estimate after we diagnose your device. We will contact you for approval before performing work beyond an agreed amount. Estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change if additional issues are discovered; we will notify you before proceeding.

3. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the agreed service unless otherwise arranged. Parts, hardware and third-party software licenses are billed separately from labor.

4. Data Backups & Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. Whenever possible, back up your data before bringing a device in for service.
• While we take reasonable care, repairs — particularly to drives or systems that are already failing — can result in data loss. Speedy Tech is not responsible for loss of data, software or files.
• When you ask us to recycle or dispose of a device, we make reasonable efforts to wipe stored data before recycling.

5. SMS / Text Messaging

If you provide your phone number and opt in, you agree to receive SMS messages from Speedy Tech Computer Repair, which may include appointment reminders, repair status updates, and promotional offers. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

6. Warranty & Limitation of Liability

Any workmanship warranty is limited to the specific repair performed and is described at the time of service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Speedy Tech's liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

7. Abandoned Equipment

Devices not picked up within 60 days of notification that service is complete (or that no service will be performed) may be considered abandoned and disposed of or recycled, as permitted by Michigan law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services or website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
